Pre & Post NCT Repairs

The National Car Test (NCT) is a two-yearly check of basic requirements on cars under ten years old, or annually for older cars, assessing components which are visible and accessible.

It does not replace, or claim to replace, the owner’s responsibility to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy at all times, or the regular maintenance that a mechanic may need to carry out on the vehicle. Any defects found must be repaired and the vehicle must pass a re-test before the vehicle owner will be issued with an NCT Certificate.
